The National Honor Society (NHS) is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students.  More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to recognize those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character.

​Students must have at least a 3.0 GPA and have attended Moore School for the equivalent of one semester.  Students should demonstrate leadership in the areas listed above. Induction for new members will take place in the spring semester.

Some NHS Duties

• Pay to join Student Council
• Do fundraisers to generate funds for pins, certificates, etc. 
• Complete ten hours of individual service.
• Complete a group service project.
• Collect aluminum cans and drop them off at recycling center.
• Document NHS activities in our scrapbook.
• Submit monthly news to the Bulldogs Bark newsletter.
• Fill and pass out bags for Blessings in a Backpack weekly.​
