Moore Public School proudly supports the national Career and Technical Student Organization of FCCLA.  FCCLA stands for Family, Career, & Community Leaders of America.  The organization provides personal growth, leadership development, and career preparation opportunities for students in Family and Consumer Science education.

Club ​members meet throughout the year, planning and executing community service initiatives, and engaging in co-curricular projects in which members compete at state each year in Bozeman, Montana in March. Students placing in the top in their events qualify to attend the national leadership conference in July.

Criteria

• Fill out membership application and pay dues by October 1st.
• Participate in fundraisers and community service projects.  
• Officers of FCCLA will be elected at the start of each school year during the first meeting.
• Students involved in FCCLA must adhere to the district’s extra curricular activities and state dress code polices.
• Attend district conference in November.
• Select and complete projects for state convention in March.
• Must attend work sessions to prepare for state convention.
• Place 1st or 2nd at State to move on to Nationals.
