Welcome back! This month we will be studying the solar system and all the exciting elements it entails! We started our month off by learning the names of the 8 planets and also the names of the dwarf planets in the Keiper Belt! We finished off our day making paper plate planets, the kids finger painted and had a blast! We will continue to learn our alphabet and numbers and reviewing visual phonics and sign language. We are blasting off into 2018!
Happy Holidays! Wow! This year seems to be flying by! I cant begin to say how amazing it has been to be working with these amazing children! We are nearly done with our ABC basics, they can count to 10 or beyond, getting so close to writing our names on our own, and pros at the expectations and rules of the classroom! Our classroom Christmas party will be Tuesday, December 19th. We will be having a cookie, hot chocolate and movie party! Just an FYI, I will be doing assessments after the Holiday break and will be presenting them to the parents at the parent teacher conferences.
Thank you for an amazing 2017 and I am looking forward to an even better 2018!
Good Morning! Winter seems to be upon us! I would like to send out a friendly reminder that the children will be going outside for recess on a regular basis. Please ensure that your child has the appropriate winter gear when coming to school. This will include, hats, gloves, boots, snowpants, and a heavy coat. Thank you so much! The preschool class is having a wonderful year so far and we look forward to many exciting days to come!
I hope everyone had an amazing weekend and was able to experience some of the many exciting events happening around our community! This week in preschool we will be working with the letters D and E and continuing our practice with numbers 1-10. D for Dinosaur is an exciting day! We will be using dinosaur counting puzzles to help with our number recognition skills. The best part will be a science experiment with Dinosaur fossils! Thursday we will move onto E is for Elephant. We will play a game called the Elephant Stomp and be learning to sort by size using elephants.
Hello from the Preschool Class! We had an amazing first few days of school! The children came excited to learn and play. Our first day was spent getting to know each other, the building, our classroom and the rules and expectations. The next two days we dug in with fun and learning! We talked about the letters A-C, practiced identifying and writing them and learned words that start with those letters. This week will be a review of letters A-C and Numbers 1-3.
Welcome to the 2017-2018 school year! I am so excited to be here and look forward to the amazing and exciting adventures we will be embarking on!

Hi I am Sarah Bristol!
I have lived in Montana since I was in the 1st grade. I spent most of my school years in Hobson before transferring to Lewistown my junior year.
I live near Glengarry with my husband, 4 year old son, and many animals, including chickens, ducks, geese, cows, dog, and cats. We love to spend our time outdoors and spend most of it working with the animals or farming.
I have several years experience working with children ranging in age from infant to preschool age. I taught preschool in Lewistown the 2016-2017 school year. I also substitute taught for a few years with all classes k-12. I love working with children and look forward to teaching in Moore!
